I just finished a new project for Scandinavian Cross Finance, designing their logo and making their website. Inspired by their product which they call “the compass”, I wanted to use that as a reference in the design. With strong clear lines, the desire was to convey confidence and strength, all while leaning towards a modern feel without being too contemporary. Have a look at their brand new website: www.scfp.se.
Some great news just in, the massive music distribution network The Vibe Guide got a copy of my latest track Runaways (feat. Sherry W) and wanted to release it. With a massive subscription base on Youtube and social media this will be great exposure for both me and Sherry. If you haven’t heard the track yet, click below to check it out!
Update: The song has been slammed down by both Soundcloud and Youtube due to copyright complaints. Why a chart topper needs to worry about someone who remixes a song with a following of less than 100 people, is sad. If I was profiting from it in any way, I would understand but this is just bizarre. I say, no profit, no shut-down. So let’s play rebels, If you want the song, click here: http://tinyurl.com/oplgdel
I was initially asked to come up with a name, slogan and logo for a new shop for larger than average men. Once that was done, they asked if I can do 3D and specifically interior design. I have been dabbling with it since I bought and designed my house and later my girlfriends so I accepted the challenge. (more…)
Last weekend was the final boat party of the season. The weather is already changing, and while I welcome the lower temperature and rain… being out at sea when it’s windy is a rollercoaster ride that usually ends with someone hurling.
Anyway, I managed to hold on to the railing and get some pretty cool shots. One of which looks like the waves are swallowing the Sliema sea front. Don’t worry, it’ll be a few more years of polar ices melting before that happens and my house becomes a sea front property ;)
I was contacted by the good people of Carlsberg to cover their event at the Farsons Beer Festival. I was hired to take photos and to make a video to give a good insight of the thirst quenching fun that took place. Good food, great drinks, fantastic performances, all wrapped up in that Emilogy goodness. Check out the video and photos below. (more…)
As bad as I wanted to make a booty shake remix, whatever I did, it kept coming back to me deep and melancholic. So I stopped forcing it and just rode the wave out. Check out the song below. (more…)
Today I was trying out my slightly modified drone, I’ll explain exactly what that modification was in a future post. Anyway, I was lazy and simply walked down to the beautiful bay of Balluta. One of these days, one of those pigeons is going to fly into my quad and get decapitated. You’ll see what I mean in the video. (more…)
Jägermeister have been doing beach events throughout the summer, playing games and getting drunk… in that order. Shortly after I had finished the Carlsberg video, I was contacted to help Jägermeister showcase their hilarious beach antics and afterdrinks at Bar Native in Paceville. I was asked to make a product promotion video, have a look below.
Gianni and his group, RUG are a bunch of hilarious musicians who, among other things make outrageous dirty covers of famous songs. They put on a great show at the Farsons Beer Festival and it was requested that I made this short video for them, showing some of the great moments and energy that they brought on stage. (more…)
I’ve been experimenting with GoPro underwater photos a bit lately to see the potential it has and what it can do. The GoPro 3+ shoots beautifully in well lit situations but of course, as soon as you take the camera underwater the circumstances of the light change drastically. (more…)
It’s the longest I’ve ever taken in editing a video, but when it comes to Nordic, it’s close to heart so it’s hard not to give it all you’ve got. So, a week later I managed to finish the third boat party of Nordic Bar for this summer. We still have one more to go, but for now, enjoy the visuals and temptations that exist onboard the Nordic boat!
It’s been a busy weekend, Farson Beer Festival on Friday and Nordic Boat Party on Saturday where I took the drone up to dizzying heights over Comino. It’s a lot of work, especially now in post production but my goodness it’s a lot of fun and always a challenge to find the right light, angles and clips to make it a top notch photo or video. Now a day of relaxation and tomorrow I’ll isolate myself in my bunker and get cracking on this footage.
